When a Robert Cary-Williams t-shirt arrived in the shop, marked with the label "shot"... well it could only mean one thing...
Some years ago I bought a t-shirt from the (sadly now closed) Hoxton Boutique. It was covered in holes, and the sales assistant told me it had been put
into a barrel and shot with a shotgun - which was exactly what it looked like too.
"It was put into a barrel and shot with a shotgun" the sales assistant told me
The t-shirt was by Robert Cary-Williams, and the next time I would hear his name would be at reVOLVER, when he designed a range of t-shirts for Superfine London, featuring giant screen-printed safety pins. They sold out very quickly, the designs were gritty and very cool.
Jump forward to 2015 and Cary-Williams has re-launched his label, and we have just received a package with mens and womens t-shirts and scarves featuring his two trademark techniques, screen-printing and well, shooting.
Available in very limited quantities - check them out, we think you will like...
